《最游记》的原作是日本漫画家峰仓和也创作的冒险漫画。虽然使用了西游记中角色的名字，但剧情与西游记相差很多。本作动画是根据《最游记》系列的“Even a worm篇”改编，关俊彦、志保总一朗、平田广明和石田彰将分别为玄奘三藏、孫悟空、沙悟净和猪八戒配音。另外，远近孝一、小山力也和大冢芳忠也将参与配音。@。据说，从同一个卵子产生的同卵双胞胎将共享一条纽带，就好像他们是同一个人一样。但不是同卵双胞胎“Sprite”和“zee”。尽管从出生起就走着和运动员一样的路线，但两人都想成为唯一！ It is said that identical twins who are produced from the same egg will share a bond as if they were the same person.
