Centers on the Kilcher family and their community outside Homer, Alaska. Led by patriarch Atz Kilcher, singer Jewel's father, the family have lived on their land for three generations. The show also focuses on the homesteaders who live by the Kilchers, including, Brother Roadkill, who eats animals lying dead on the side of the road.。所谓凶宅，就是里面曾经有人横死过的房子。传说这样死去的人因为阳寿并没有过完，所以会死得很不甘心。而“凶宅先生”江烁就是通过低价购入凶宅，然后将凶宅进行驱邪辟秽，转手再把房子高价卖出。 这天，江烁不听同伴秦一恒的劝阻，执意买下一栋异常便宜的小洋楼，误打误撞发现凶宅中藏着一个神秘墓室，并在其中遇到一个“女小鬼”。于是开始发生各种离奇的凶杀、阴邪、诡异事件……。
