《小街大事》讲述的是发生在南方某个小城中，一个小区居委会的故事。邻里之间琐碎的小事在这些敬业的老、中、小三代“热心肠”的工作人员的眼中却是无比重要的大事。。1985年之前，乔四是一个普通瓦砖工人，因妹妹考学、母亲重病，被一穷二白的家境逼上绝路，不得不进城谋求财路。奈何人性复杂，老实的穷人处处被人欺压侮辱。为了家人，乔四不得不奋起反抗，在求财的道路上频出险招，他倒卖盗版光盘、入赘豪门。。Two groups of young people, from two opposed worlds, who have two things in common: one, they are passionate about dancing and acting| and two, they are going through that period in which life forces them to define their path.。
