90年代初，孤女简爱（刘涛饰）辗转来到广州打工，当过餐馆小工、外贸公司茶水小妹，凭借聪明、善良以及敢打敢拼的斗志，成长为出色的外贸跟单员和业务经理。但简爱并不满足于已经实现的身份跨越，几经周折，她成立了自己的外贸公司，并且在经历了98年东南亚金融风暴和2008年金融危机之后，依托中国大陆改革开放的成果，依托不断蓬勃发展的中国外贸大势，回乡创业，创立民族品牌，最终成长为跨国集团老总。在成长路上，简爱也曾迷惘，最终，凭借自己的奋斗，取得了事业成功。而在寻找到自己人生价值的同时，简爱与方恒之（林峯饰）的感情，也在经历了风雨之后，从最初的男强女弱走向平分秋色，并成为最终的人生伴侣。。扎西和央金朝夕相处，彼此相爱。一天，农奴主珠玛太太骑马游玩，马受惊突然狂奔起来，在这千钧一发之际，扎西冒险救了珠玛太太。为此，珠玛答应扎西替央金还清债后，就让他俩成亲。但是，朗色活佛企图霸占央金，他以扎西的央金的结合违背神意为由，剜去扎西的左眼。央金誓死不从朗色，被投进了雅鲁藏布江，抛下了她和扎西生的出世不久的一对双胞胎女儿，姐姐取名达娃，妹妹取名尼玛。为了瞒过主人，扎西以“大叔”的名义将她们抚养下来。一九五七年，西藏一小撮上层反动分子准备叛乱，这时达娃和尼玛已经十八岁了。她们在支差路上发现珠玛从国外偷运的武器。当她们要去报告解放军时，朗色将达娃杀害。一九五九年叛乱活动被平息。两年前投奔解放军的尼玛和工作队一起回到家乡。奴隶们在工作队的领导下纷纷而起，珠玛太太和朗色活佛受到了应得的惩罚，扎西和尼玛父女团聚，世代当牛做马的奴隶真正站起来了。。JERUSALEM takes audiences on an inspiring and eye-opening tour of one of the worlds oldest and most enigmatic cities.
