影片讲述生活在湖心岛的小龙虾虾宝为了寻找“真元”在外历练，得知湖心岛被以蝗爷为首的蝗虫大军占领、师父下落不明，众师兄被抓后，毅然反抗并最终理解什么是真元而打败蝗爷的冒险故事。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
