The entertaining portrait of the mythical cassette, through a journey from East to West, then from West to East. The film will also take a look at the 1980s, a period that defined our world.。二十多岁的大男孩小六（赵毅 饰）与同龄人稍有不同，小时候他曾罹患脑炎，因此成了智障残疾人。身体已经是成年人了，智商却只有三四岁孩子的程度。小六从小喜欢捏泥人，他捏的泥人惟妙惟肖，神态逼真。这个孩子在母亲、姐姐的关怀下快乐成长。为了让他将来能够养活自己，母亲带着他拜“泥人陈”为师。幸运的是“泥人陈”十分爱护这个有着那么一点儿慧根同时又厚道乐观的徒弟，他如父亲一般扶持着小六茁壮成长。然而暴风雨在某天突然降临，因听说小六被人欺负，母亲急火攻心昏倒，最终撒手人寰。失去了最爱自己的人，命中注定上天让另一个女孩来到小六的世界中。 他单纯、快乐，一门心思对别人好，怎奈命运不公……。
