In this '60s retro prequel to the bizarro-noir Bloodsucker's Handbook (AKA Enchiridion), Bloodsucker's Planet follows the crew of the space ship Argosy as they respond to a distress signal from the industrial Planet Mara only to discover the planet is ruled by the sinister Mother Vampire. Along the way, they encounter disease-carrying Mara bats, a talking space roach, and Adria...。一次意外中，少年弘濑琢磨（小清水亚美 配音）的双眼失去了光明，这为他内向的性格更增添了一层阴影。父亲将琢磨托付给乡下的叔叔代为抚养，同时也希望乡间闲散的生活能够治愈他受伤的心灵。在乡间，琢磨结识了个性活泼开朗的姐妹神乐萤（成濑未亚 配音）和神乐雏田（田中凉子 配音），这一对姐妹乐观的态度让琢磨的心扉敞开了不少，同时，班级中的田端唯（安田未央 配音）等同学也令琢磨暂时忘却了痛苦。 与此同时，那个叫做小日向早美（樱井浩美 配音）的女孩出现在了琢磨的视线中，由于家族的缘故，早美只能隐居在深山之中，接受居民们的憎恨和排斥来替家人赎罪。早美的坚强感动了琢磨，在两人的努力下，同学们也逐渐的接受了早美的存在。一切都看似往好的方向发展，直到村长说出了那个和早美有关的，足以摧毁琢磨灵魂的秘密。。
