上海名牌大学毕业的苏拉（林心如 饰）与颜如玉（曾黎 饰）是一对共患难的好朋友。刚毕业的她们工作还没有着落便要面临经济困扰，苏拉还在爱情上受挫，两人身心疲惫。她们俩发誓要立足上海，接着在好友芳芳的帮助下终于有了落脚的地方，更幸运地进了同一所旅行社工作。 在一次偶然中，苏拉认识了年轻有为的CEO邱石（陆毅 饰），邱石被苏拉的气质吸引，他对苏拉百般追求，苏拉却无心恋爱，只把精力全部投进事业中。 苏拉的表现得到了上司的肯定，却在激烈竞争中遭到了如玉的出卖。本是好友的她们选择了两条不同的道路，友谊破裂。伤心欲绝的苏拉最终接受了邱石的追求，更与往日上司景飒开设了一间女子酒吧。正当一切都看起来十分顺利之际，邱石也受到了苏拉前男友的陷害，不得不离开公司，事业面临危机……。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。Mary's vanguard career, who, as an actor, performer, and advocate, revolutionized the portrayal of women in media, redefined their roles in show business, and inspired generations to dream big and make it on their own。
