"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。兰崇建收留李耀庭兄弟，改名广字辈徒弟，与儿子兰广义一起习武。因为各自心中的抱负彼此有了隔阂。兰广义为了安抚师兄弟，独自外出巧遇一神秘女子蓝凤凰，两人互相吸引情意相投。不想蓝凤凰的真实身份竟是江湖杀手。。在離異的丈夫過世後，艾瑪得到了小女兒艾拉的監護權，並且努力的重建兩人之間的關係時，她們的新家卻突然出現一個惡靈，並且開始折磨她們，無時無刻暗中監視著，但隨著劇情峰迴路轉，真相卻是大呼過癮！！。
