一帮匪徒探知寺内有宝物，以赈灾义演为噱头骗得方丈和众僧离寺演出，在下山途中东东阴错阳差发现了盗贼的阴谋，最后东东在小姑娘朋朋的帮助下，利用平时整蛊师兄们的小技术，设计种种关卡，让盗贼吃尽苦头。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’.
