该剧由《大叔的爱》团队制作，讲述在发生了凄惨的连环杀人事件的小镇上，各自怀有秘密、无法下定决心结婚的二人间的爱情悬疑故事。高畑饰演的是有“吸血鬼”称号的周刊杂志《周刊热波》的王牌记者暗原心。田中饰演的是虽然与心经历了糟糕的邂逅，但却逐渐被她吸引的派出所警察朝田虎松。。该片以视听障碍人支援法《海伦凯勒法》为素材。《海伦凯勒法》是指国家人权委员会2008年1月针对视听障碍残疾儿童不能接受教育的现状进行调查，并制定的相关政策。虽然已经过了12年，但人们对视听障碍人的认识仍然很落后。。Reva, a cheerful student, suddenly changes after her 21st birthday.
