越战后，退役越军阮力辗转来到香港靠杀人为生，期间遇上琳并成为情侣。然而一次行动中，阮力奉命要干掉琳之父亲，上司坚得悉琳对其生疑，故下令阮力杀琳以灭口。阮力带琳逃走，坚下令追杀二人，期间琳得悉阮力乃杀父仇人，伤心欲绝，力为让琳亲报父仇，故意开枪杀她，琳开枪还击，力含笑倒地……。A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli).
