江晏是江家少爷，原本阖家幸福的生活，被江淮携一纸DNA闯入而打破，江淮伪造车祸，自己装作被江晏撞失明，江家没有人相信江晏，亲手把他送进监狱。。吴敏德（钟景辉 饰）和妻子鲁小丽（李司棋 饰）结婚多年，两人感情十分要好。吴敏德是渔护署的顾问，鲁小丽则在身为家庭主妇的同时亦是烹饪学校的教师，两人一个主外一个主内，将家中大大小小的事物平衡的几近完美，鲁小丽也因此得到了女儿吴彩妮（陈法拉 饰）的敬佩，被其称为家中的“皇后”。 然而，一场意料之外的旅行改变了家中的格局，亦打破了辛苦建立的平衡，吴敏德提前退休，鲁小丽则凭借着自己的厨艺得到了一份不错的工作，两人的身份地位霎时对调，这让一向当家做主惯了的吴敏德感到很不喜欢，遂即惹出了一对的麻烦，也闹了不少的笑话。。After a governor issues an executive order to arrest the children of undocumented immigrants, the newly detained youth are offered an opportunity to have their charges dropped by volunteering to provide care to the elderly.
