干探雷大勇和上司沈Sir合得来，和高级督察叶振强感情也非常不错；张启华原是一个好探员，他被诬贩毒坐了十年冤狱，出狱后他先杀了退休探员猪头炳，下一个目标是雷大勇，因为他认为他俩是陷害他的对头人。大勇和富家子发生争执，不久富家子被杀，大勇被指为凶手，他从警署中逃出来找真凶。启华和大勇遇上了，发生打斗，振强赶到告知他们内幕真相，真凶原来是沈Sir。沈Sir侦知启华，大勇的下落，和手下赶到欲杀他们灭口，一番激战之后，启华和沈Sir枪战中死亡，振强和能证明大勇冤枉的证人海伦亦受伤，大勇侥幸没有受伤，沉冤得雪。。外卖员郑小涛因救人反被污蔑为杀人犯。而真正的杀人凶手，却仗着家里的权势，四处散播谣言，抹灭证据，买通律师，企图将杀人罪责全部推到郑小涛身上。。After the tremendous popular success of the Fantômas novels, both of the major French film studios — Pathé and Gaumont — vied for the rights to produce films based on the series.
